Working on the House
We knew the house needed a lot of help. We started even before the move to fix things up. We are VERY grateful to Dad Cann for flying out the week before we moved to help work on the house; and to Matt North for coming from PA to come and work tirelessly on our house. Oh, did I mention that two days after we moved in our AC went out, so all of their help was in the hottest week of the year with no AC! And, yes, we also "celebrated" our sixth anniversary by working on our new house and going out to eat.
We're also grateful to members of our new ward - especially the Relief Society sisters and the missionaries who pitched in right away to help with some cleaning and painting!
We are making progress on the house - we'll post transformation pictures soon!

Looking good - sorry I missed saying goodbye to you. I just got released from Primary and am in RS again. Can't wait to see all the changes to the house.
Wow, looking at all of those moving and fixing house pictures makes me exhausted! Moving is NOT fun! But that is so wonderful that you have a home to call your own. Good luck with the rest of your fix ups!
I was doing the same thing when I was 9 months along with Sydney. Scrubbing the kitchen cabinets finally put me into labor. I wish I could help... it's hard work.
We miss you guys! I hope that you have recovered from moving day and are beginning to enjoy your new home.
